Every paint roller cover has a nap length. You'll find it listed on the packaging. This is the length of the fibers that are attached to the roller core. We use longer naps for rougher surfaces because they can get deep down into the nooks and crannies. They also hold a lot of paint. Shorter nap paint roller covers are used for smoother surfaces. The downside... but they hold less paint so you'll have to go back and forth between the paint tray and your paint project more often. Here's some of the more popular nap lengths you’ll need to know:
Marble requires a bit (sometimes a lot) of maintenance and for many people, the effort isn't worth the headache. I have 3 kids at home, run two full time businesses, and homeschool all these little humans. With teenagers at home, I often wake up to food and drink covered countertops from their nighttime cooking shenanigans, come home to paint and glue at the island from my creative artsy daughter, and to be real embarrassingly transparent- there's usually a mound of dishes waiting to be washed at any given time next to the sink. All marble nightmares. I have no interest in or time to worry about my kitchen and bathrooms, I need wipe and go. Although I still absolutely ohh and ahh and daydream of the most beautiful marble kitchen every time someone chooses it for their renovation, it's just not for where I'm at in life right now. It's on my someday list.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND A HANDYMAN/HOME MAINTENANCE COMPANY? Legally, there are many. North Carolina currently does not license or qualify Handymen or other Home Maintenance companies. The North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors licenses and qualifies General Contractors to contract work within the State.
